IOSH furthers understanding of safety and health issues – and provides practical solutions to address them
IOSH provides a range of free and practical tools and resources to help safety and health professionals and organisations create safe and healthy working environments, and we do so in a number of ways.
Because we’re committed to evidence-based practice in workplace safety and health, we maintain a research and development fund to support impactful research, inspire innovation and strengthen our influence.
We aim to enhance understanding in our field for practitioners and others, then use our findings to inform practical solutions to tackle the issues raised, including books, technical guides and reports.
Our campaign on occupational cancer, No Time to Lose, has produced a suite of resources to help organisations and individuals manage the risks of workplace carcinogens.
And the IOSH health and safety helpline gives callers access to a friendly team of experts who can give advice on specific occupational safety and health matters, free of charge.
