The aim of the South Wales Branch is to further the objectives of IOSH, to promote improvements in occupational health and safety and, most importantly, to support our members in their professional activities.
On behalf of the South Wales Branch Committee, welcome to our Branch homepage. We enjoyed another successful season in 2017–18 and we sincerely hope that you find the forthcoming year as fulfilling. We have some new committee members and many have stepped into new roles. I would particularly like to welcome our new secretary, the mainstay of any organisation. Our comprehensive and varied programme covers a wide range of topics, all chosen from the comments forms members complete after every meeting. Please keep filling them in!
Be sure to check out the South Wales Brand Strategy that highlights our bold vision for a safe and healthy world of work with WORK 2022.
Meetings are free to attend, unless otherwise stated.
Before travelling long distances, we urge you to look at the IOSH South Wales events page to check if there have been any last-minute changes.
If you are a new or potential member, please speak to any of the committee at a meeting. We all wear clear IOSH badges. If we can help advance your membership grade with advice or support, then of course we will. There is usually a buffet, so plenty of networking opportunities.
If you are unable to attend a particular meeting, you should find the presentation on our website.
