Name: James Bell
Committee Role: Vice Chair
Supporting statement: I have been Vice Chair for a year now and feel I have settled into the role and am making a worthwhile contribution to the Bristol Branch whilst developing myself personally and working alongside a great team.
From feedback, comments and personal observations I can see positive changes over the past year with the improved ‘attendee experience’, the more friendly room layout and generally a more welcoming feel at Branch meetings combined with a more structured and organised Committee.
I welcome the opportunity, and the challenges it brings, to continue as Vice Chairman, with the continued support of my colleagues, and commit to serving the Branch and Committee to the best of my ability.
Name: Colin Hogg
Committee Role: Treasurer
Supporting statement: I have been a member of the B&W committee for many years, and am currently Branch Treasurer, a post I have held for several years.
I am willing to continue as Branch Treasurer, and as this is one of the roles that needs annual re-election at the AGM I submit this form.
This year IOSH are changing how Branch finances are managed, I am keen to work with IOSH HQ to make sure the transition is seamless thus enabling us to continue to support our members through 2019/20.
Name: Graham Wailes
Committee Role: Chair
Supporting statement: I have been a member of the B&W committee for several years, during part of which I have been a meeting organiser, Vice Chair and more recently Chair. I am willing to continue as Branch Chair, and as this is one of the roles that needs annual re-election at the AGM I submit this form.
I have worked at various levels of organisations in many fields including more latterly consulting with clients both home and abroad. Supporting Branch within these times of challenge and change within and beyond IOSH feels like the right thing to do and I seek your support in this endeavour.
